Hello everyone, 
 
We're very excited to to tell you that we're finished with a couple of new tracks! We'll be sharing them with you in a the next few weeks! In the meantime, we're putting together a sampler… Look for that in the next couple of days. 
 
The Pledge Campaign is going splendidly! We still have 32 days left, so there's plenty of time to tell your friends and Pledge!

I went to Al's New Stand in downtown Fort Collins yesterday, with the intent of looking through this months Music and Musicians Magazine. There was a rumor that we were quoted in an article written by the wonderful Peter Cooper. Mom and I had reserved the 
last copy, the one with Jason Mraz on the cover. We went through the magazine quickly, just to see if we were actually quoted. We were! And not only were we quoted talking about the evolution of the Folk genre, we are also listed in the Next Generation section right next to The Head and the Heart and Milk Carton Kids! Needless to say we were honored, and bought the magazine on the spot! 
 
We have 36 days to complete this project! Thank you all so much for the support you've shown all ready! We're really excited for you to hear what we're working on =]

We have some very exciting news! We just launched our PledgeMusic Campaign to help release our first full length album later this summer!  Packing this much excitement onto a single silver disk isn't free, and we simply can't do it without your help! To explain, we've made a two minute documentary where you see how PledgeMusic saved us from becoming fox hunters. The Most Interesting Moments on Tour In Chronological Order According To -E

First day in the studio, Nir Z came over and helped Liza set up and tune the kit. He's the coolest of dudes. Next Liza and I laid down some killer live drum and mando tracks that would be the foundation for the rest of the group – all with the help of our wonderful producer and friend Brent Maher.

Day two Kevin Daily laid down some ridiculously groovy bass, then Hannah put down some funky upright  piano and Rhodes. Sarah wrapped it up on day three with some brilliant violin work. . .on her new violin that she fell in love with while shopping around at The Violin Shop in Nashville.

We hit the road for Memphis to experience the craziness of Folk Alliance. It was nonstop partying every night until early morning. Total hours of sleep over those three days? Maybe 6. We heard amazing music and made friends with a bunch of cool peoples, including the Dunwells, an amazing band from Leeds, England who let us play on one of their awesome songs and worked up an arrangement of 'Going to California' with us. That was an insanely epic night. 

We headed back to Nashville after that to catch The Civil Twilights, a stunning band that Kevin just joined. They previewed a bunch of their new tunes. They were out of this world!

Day four in the studio, Sarah and I laid down a new live track for 'Tuscany' and got it on the second take! After that Brent dug into the electric mandolin tone on one of the songs and we came up with an epic sound for a new track called 'Lost As Anybody'.

That night Sarah stayed up till midnight making a sweet lyric video for 'Please Come Home'. 

Day five. . . grand piano time for Hannah. She ruled it. Now we have a killer piano track for 'Paint My LIfe'. Very suiting for the classically inspired song. 

Next we hit up Music City Roots. It's by far the coolest barn I've ever been in. We heard some incredible artists including Woody Pines. And then played our own set. Afterwards we got to meet John Oats who played at the beginning of the show. . . he's one super cool guy. 

After that it was off to Arkansas to visit our friend Logan Lind and play a show together at the Mena High School for a bunch of wild kids. So fun. We finished our visit by eating delicious blueberry crisp that night  made by Logan's mum, Kelly, and then watching 'Candle Shoe'.

One quick stop in Oklahoma to visit our friends Andrew and Meagan Robinson and play a set at Mc'Nellies Pub. We woke up at 6:00am this morning to make the long drive home. Andrew made us the most delicious quiche of all time for breakfast. 

Also, it's mom's 60th birthday today! Mom and Dad have been amazing! They've put up with our shenanigans these past two and half weeks and dad's done all the driving. Don't know what we'd do without them. 

Looking forward to being home. . . but not for long! We head out to Western CO on Thursday. Really looking for to this trip! Can't wait to see my friend Annie Brooks!

In the future we'll be writing about a few different things. Like; what life is like out on the road, the interesting people we meet on the road, our favorite things to eat when we're on the road, how to train your dragon when you're on the road, how to make the best lemonade ever no matter where you are… and if we're lucky, we might be able to talk Miss Eva into sharing some of her strange, yet wonderful fairy tales. That in itself would be a great accomplishment!
